VS Server Explorer Error - Login Failed for user
Problem
When expanding [Tables] node of SQL Server from [Server Explorer] in Visual Studio 2017, the following error might occur. This error occurs when connecting to SQL Server with SQL Authentication.
Failed to retrieve data for this request Failed to connect to server 'Server1' Login Failed for user 'sa'
How to fix
When creating new Data Connection with SQL Server Authentication, check [Save my password] to persist SQL login information.
